Goodbye Chromemaster
We are always saddened to hear of businesses who have gone under, and it is with regret that we learn Chromemaster, based on the Grane Road, have finally succumbed to the economic climate.
We had the pleasure of providing Chromemaster with their email, hosting and website, and regularly enjoyed the showcase of their chromed work, which we featured on the Chromemaster website, in a gallery section. We wish the Chromemaster staff all the best, and hope they make a return in more favourable economic times.
Joomla Print or Email Background Colour
I had a problem in that I had a dark coloured image as an overall template background, with content set in a light coloured window.
Trouble is, that when you use Joomla (1.0.15) built in e-mail and print content code, it reverts to the overall body image, which can make the writing illegible.
The solution is to add the following into your template CSS:
body.contentpane {background: #FFFFFF;}
And voila, problem solved!
Vista Batch Photo Image Resizer
If there's one thing I hate, it's doing boring repetitive tasks, and high up on that list is photo resizing.
Whilst I am a great fan of high resolution pictures, it's incredibly frustrating waiting for webpages to load large images unecessarily. Imagine my delight therefore, when I found the VSO Image Resizer, which integrates into the shell and allows batch resizing of images, and is freeware to boot.
